It’s designed to provide mentorship, encouragement, and a safe space for students to grow both personally and socially.

interns at “Cheers for change”

Cheers for Change has officially connected with Southern Methodist University!

Our Education Internship Program is connected to the SMU career center! The connection with SMU will help provide interns for Cheers for Change through our Education Internship Program.

Through our Education Internship Program student interns and volunteers will connect and gain experience.

We are also beginning discussions about a possible fall community event at SMU called “Fall Fest”.

This is an image of our interns playing and interacting with the kids. Each week they come up with enriching activities that empower them. Our program gives children the space to explore, create, and connect while developing important social and creative skills.
